The Megalith Project was the next logical project after the Thebes Photographic Project. The reason was that these stone monuments occupy roughly the same time frame in history. Plus, they have the similar spiritual subtext. I am forever interested in photographing them in a way that, like a Zen garden, reflects their elegance, their unknowable meanings & their brotherhood with Contempory art.
